Through the activities planned in project ELEVATE, we anticipate positive changes in the social inclusion and accessibility landscape of Danube region territories. Our focus on jointly developing Sustainability Plan with a List of Regional Priority Investments, co-designed through place-based participatory processes, based on individual pilot territory action plans, will lead to the formulation of comprehensive action to improve the inclusiveness and accessibility of the Danube region. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders from the public, business, and civil society sectors, we expect to see tangible improvements in more fairly distributing the social and financial burden of the demographic changes faced by the Danube region and better steering of public and private finance in the financial period 2028-2034 to support a fair green and just transition in the Danube region.
