Result 2 Solutions taken up or up-scaled by organisations

The Green-Tex project will develop tested solutions for the following challenges: (i) textile waste collection in various types of environments (metropolitan, urban & suburban areas), (ii) application of natural, locally sourced fibres (i.e. wool) in innovative textile production, (iii) green fashion design (reuse, zero waste design etc.). Solutions will be provided with detailed instructions on actions needed to be taken up by: enterprises in the field of design, textile production, waste collection & recycling, application of locally sourced natural materials. Green-Tex Knowledge & Innovation Ecosystem Platform will support them in this process; - support organisations, local, regional, national authorities to develop sustainable textile sector policies, strategies & relevant legal framework, conducive to the application of circular economy principles. A digital application showing the network of textile waste containers will have a transnational relevance for the entire DRB.
