Project IaaS4DR has officially launched!

The Kick-off meeting took place in Košice, Slovakia  from 14th to 15th March. It was organized by the Lead partner Technical university of Košice and hosted all of the partners from the whole consortium. This project connects a huge group of partners from the Danube region-  Austria , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Czech Republic , Hungary , Germany , Montenegro , Romania , Slovakia , Slovenia , Ukraine , which creates a partnership of 16 partners working together!

IaaS4DR project is a beacon of innovation for the Danube Region, targeting industrial areas in transition with lower innovation performance.

By fostering locally delivered, durably improved, and integrated innovation support services, project aims to transcend the limitations of traditional, linear, and top-down innovation support methods. Through a blend of capacity building, collaborative models, and access to transnational expertise, the project endeavors to enhance the innovation infrastructure and operational capacity across the region.

A standout feature of IaaS4DR is its innovative approach- Innovation as a Service (IaaS), drawing inspiration from the economy's servitization to offer outsourcing of innovation management and access to critical expertise and infrastructure. With the creation of a web-based learning platform, the establishment of a durable transnational community of innovation support providers, and the "IaaS4DR accelerator," the project promises to bring together over 1 100 solutions, ensuring a high level of durability and integration into the working practices of its target groups. This initiative not only aims to leverage the capacity of business support organizations and innovation intermediaries but also to significantly impact the innovation ecosystem, fostering a more competitive and smarter Danube Region.
