Attractive and well-known tourism offer of border cycling trails of the Danube region is recognised at international level. This is partly due to the successful implementation of the Transnational marketing strategy of inclusive border cycling trails in the Danube region. Transnational marketing strategy (OI 3.1) and its connected implementation plan is being applied in real terms in different border cycling trails with scheduled on- and offline promotional actions and Social Inclusion Travel Challenge media campaign organised for media experts and experts of travel agencies of the most developed European markets, especially the DACH and BENELUX markets. Due to the Transferability marketing action plan (OI 3.2), at least one border cycling trail regarded as a new destination is actively promoted on the international tourism market and tourists belonging to the silver economy and the young generation visit the trail from Western Europe.
