Output 2.2 Co-designed, piloted Back on Track Framework for effective Mentor Training

Training mentors to sustainably reach and support rural NEETs

This output provides a jointly developed and piloted framework for establishing effective mentor training within the Back on Track project. It is designed to train specialised NEET mentors who can reach out to rural NEETs in a sustained and successful way, understand their individual challenges and support them in developing integration plans.

For youth workers, NGOs and other stakeholders working with rural NEETs, the curriculum offers a practical and adaptable training course. It helps strengthen mentoring capacities and supports professionals in building sustainable relationships with young people who are often difficult to reach through traditional approaches.

The framework, curriculum and training course can be adapted at transnational level, making it a useful tool for different organisations and regional contexts. In this way, it contributes to long-term cooperation with rural NEETs and supports their integration into education, training, employment and social participation.
