Output 2.3 Co-created, tested Back on Track Mentoring Program for a successful and effective mentoring process for rural NEETs
With Output 2.3, the Back on Track project provides a mentoring methodology that was tested in five pilot countries: Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Hungary. The methodology was evaluated and validated by project partners and the stakeholder network, ensuring that it reflects practical experience and real needs from the field.
For youth workers, NGOs, education providers, labour market actors and social organisations, the mentoring programme offers a structured framework with practical tools that can be adapted at transnational level. It supports professionals in reaching rural NEETs, building trust-based mentoring relationships and guiding young people in their individual development pathways.
The programme aims to engage rural NEETs, support their reintegration into education and help them move towards training or labour market opportunities. By being taken up by relevant organisations, the mentoring methodology contributes to the sustainability of the project results and strengthens long-term support structures for rural NEETs.
