Output 3.2 Tested Back on Track Educational Model that boosts the resilience of rural NEETs and develops their basic skills, empowering them to progress to further training and education
Output 3.2 presents a validated educational model that supports rural NEETs in strengthening their resilience, developing basic skills and preparing for further training and education. The model was tested and validated in five pilot countries: Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria and Hungary.
For youth workers, NGOs, educational institutions, labour market actors, public bodies and community organisations, the model offers an adaptable framework for supporting rural NEETs through a customized digital learning platform, available via the Back on Track E-Learning Platform. It combines curricula for basic skills development with self-management training and resilience-building elements, helping young people overcome barriers related to infrastructure, confidence and access to learning.
The Educational Model can be adapted to different regional and organisational contexts and used as a practical tool to empower rural NEETs, support their re-engagement in learning and create pathways towards further education, training and future labour market participation.
