Workshop 1: Home Care in the Danube Region - the “Quartier”-Approach in Germany | October 2024

As part of the Caring Communities project, we will start a series of workshops on October 8th , in which partner countries from the Danube Region will present their local home care system and share good practice.

The focus of the first workshop will be on Germany and neighborhood projects & voluntary solutions, the German “Quartier-Approach”.

The German term “Quartier” refers to vibrant social spaces where people engage, take responsibility, and support each other. The aim is to improve living and working conditions within neighborhoods by working with those affected. This involves shaping city centers, districts and neighborhoods with residents to develop individual local solutions.
