CityWalk2.0 on the international stage in Bucharest!

We are proud to share that Valentina Stan (URBASOFIA) presented CityWalk2.0 this week at the final conference of the URBACT SMALL – Sustainable Mobility for All project in Bucharest.

The event brought together leading national institutions — including the University of Bucharest, UEFISCDI, the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration — as well as NGOs and international guests.

Valentina introduced our project’s objectives, early pilot results, key documents, and the progress we are making in promoting active urban mobility. Her presentation sparked great interest, especially regarding our travel behaviour change pilot actions, effective strategies, and lessons learned — including the bureaucratic challenges of pilot implementation.

We are delighted that CityWalk2.0 was featured alongside other European initiatives such as PROWD (DUT), PUMA (URBACT) and PopUpUrbanSpaces (Interreg Central Europe).
