
Roadmaps for Community Campaigns completed
The CITYWALK 2.0 project partners have completed their Roadmaps for Community Campaigns, developed collaboratively with the support of our knowledge providers. These roadmaps outline the plans for local campaigns starting in June, filled with creative ideas and impactful messages aimed at encouraging travel behaviour change.
In our new series (available on our Facebook page), we will showcase a selection of these campaign messages. What they all have in common is their simplicity, clarity, and accessibility - making them ideal for public display in urban spaces such as citylights, billboards, and other outdoor surfaces. Their strength lies in being easily noticeable and memorable for passersby.
Our goal with this series is to inspire other cities - even those not participating in CITYWALK 2.0 - to adopt similar messages in their efforts to promote active urban mobility. Of course, for these messages to be truly effective, they need to be adapted into national languages, accompanied by tailor-made graphic design, and supported by a strong local campaign.
This series is all about inspiration - we hope it sparks new ideas for communicating active mobility in your city!
