Project Title: Partnership meeting

The CultHeRit project successfully hosted its high-level Capitalization and Partnership Meeting from May 12–14, 2026, in Cluj-Napoca. The three-day event brought together international partners to address critical workforce gaps, funding challenges, and sustainable development within the cultural heritage sector of the Danube Region. Hosted in collaboration with the National Museum of History of Transylvania, the meeting served as a vital platform for project alignment as CultHeRit enters its final implementation phase.

The core focus of the meeting centered on the CultHeRit project’s mission: identifying solutions for labor market imbalances in the cultural heritage sector by making it more accessible to young professionals. To maximize regional impact, attendees explored synergies with parallel interregional initiatives. Key sessions highlighted the COMMHERITOUR project, which focuses on community-based models to enhance tourism in remote areas through heritage crafts, and the IMPACTA project, which drives mentorship and policy transformation for women in business.

The meeting brought together a group of project partners including:

·        Representatives of cultural institutions within Project

·        Sebastian Bonis

The comprehensive program provided participants with both practical field insights and strategic planning sessions. Participants toured the National Museum of History of Transylvania’s new facility in Florești (online) followed by a guided tour of the landmark exhibition, "Untold Treasures: History of Transylvania through Objects.

A dedicated interactive session tackled the complex landscape of cultural heritage funding, mapping out future opportunities and systemic challenges for regional institutions. Partners finalized preparations and agendas for the upcoming CultHeRit final event, while assessing the completion of remaining project deliverables.

As the CultHeRit project nears its conclusion, the outcomes of this meeting reinforce a shared commitment to building a resilient, youthful, and economically vibrant cultural ecosystem across the Danube Region.

The next and final project meeting will be held in Budapest, Hungary on June 17 and 18, 2026
