CultHeRit project meeting in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina

EU project #CultHeRit gathered its partners in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Last week, the Institute for Protection of Cultural – Historical and Natural Heritage of Republic of Srpska, Banja Luka and University Campus - Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy were hosts for partnership meeting which was held from the 8th till 10th of April where representatives of the 13 #CHIM partners met and discussed the following deliverables of the project.

One of the main objectives on the first day of the meeting was dedicated to the first year review process with the participation of the project officer in charge of the CultHeRit project in the Danube Region Programme Joint Secretariat and to the project management.

Hence, the focus of the project is on the young professionals participating in the testing of the employment model, who all the partners have employed, mentors and young professionals had their interactive session and opportunity to introduce themselves to the other participants and to share the first impressions about their involvement in the project.

By the end of the first meeting day Ania Creative Studio which is formed of former students of the Faculty of Architecture presented the Mill of Culture project.

On the second day of the project meeting partners talked about visibility of Advocacy campaigns in the following months; the content of the campaign, including the short film, was discussed.

Lenka Stolárová, the representative of UPM in Prague, gave a presentation of the current status of the implementation of the activity and shared the visuals for the following Advocacy campaign. She also informed the partners about their tasks and responsibilities during the third and fourth semesters (including the organization of the national advocacy events).

Thomas Philipp, the representative of KUPF, presented an overview of the activity Transnational aspirational employment model after which all the partners gave the glimpse about the first phases of the testing employment model focused on the main experiences. Presentation was followed by dedicated workshops and discussion in which all partners actively participated.

At the end of the meeting day and as a part of the project, a guided tour of the Museum of Republic of Serbia as well as a visit to the Banja Luka fortress was organized.

On the third day of the project meeting partners have discussed Key Stakeholder Groups – how they operate and what the challenges are.

Irina Cozma gave a presentation with overview of the project PA3_CLOSE – Recovery through CuLture, tOuriSm and peoplE-to-people contacts in the Danube Region financed by the Danube Region Programme and aims to provide greater visibility to the cultural dimensions of the Priority Areas within the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, including activities and objectives which have an impact on the cultural and linguistic identity of the communities in the Danube Region and on the role of these components in the development of local and regional strategies.

After that, Marija Jurkić Flis, the representative of MUO and coordinator of the communication activities within the #CultHeRit project presented the latest developments related to communication. She presented the analysis of the survey conducted as part of recruitment of the young professional in MUO and the visibility of the project. She also shared some tips and ideas with partners on how to be more present on social media which will also be important for the future project success as well as the visibility of the Advocacy campaign film.

The meeting ended with updates on Strategy to improve accessibility of jobs and employment situation in CHIM sector as well as about the ideas and the subjects of the films which are going to present the employment situation in CHIM.

Before final conclusions and farewells partners have agreed that the next meeting will be organized in June in Bucharest.
