EU project #CultHeRit gathered its partners in Prague, Czech Republic
A
successful, well-attended project partners meeting was held at UPM Prague, bringing together partners from 8 countries within Danube Region with the same goal – improvements in employment in the CH sector. The event, hosted by UPM Prague brought as well special guest Mgr. Jiří Střecha from ICOM CZ who shows their support to #CultHeRit project.
This event highlighted the ongoing efforts from all the partners as well introduce new outcomes such as Manifesto of Young Professionals in the CHIM sector.
The meeting was held within the framework of the CultHeRit project, which addresses the challenges of youth employment in the cultural sector. Recognizing the increasing demand for qualified young professionals in cultural institutions and organizations, the project aims to support the development of long-term strategies that improve employability and professional integration in the sector.
The main objectives of the meeting were:
• Pilot action reports
• Glimpse of upcoming films about work in the CHIM sector
• Evaluation of the transnational aspirational employment model
• Strategy to improve accessibility of jobs and employment situation in CHIM sector
• Publications on insights from CultHeRit
• Advocacy campaign

The meeting brought together a diverse group of project partners including:
• Representatives of cultural institutions within Project • Mentors in the project #CultHeRit
• Young professionals employed in #CHIM
• Senka Gavranov
• Sebastian Bonis
• Mihai Dragolea (via Zoom)
• Stefan Cibian
Participants engaged in structured discussions on the following themes:
• Presentation films – discussion about the final drafts of concept of the films which will present the employment situation in CHIM
• Strategies for improving accessibilities of jobs and employment situation in CHIM sector
• Status of the preparation and implementation of the Advocacy campaign
• Proposals for the national level advocacy events and reports on hold on advocacy events
• Proposals for changes of partners’ HR documentation
• Final conference in Budapest

The meeting concluded with a shared recognition of the urgent need to:
• Implementation and updating partners internal HR policy documents
Participants emphasized the importance of continuous dialogue and collaboration across sectors. The meeting was evaluated as a valuable step toward creating more inclusive and sustainable cultural employment policies. Partners agreed on the statement that mentorship is necessary in employment and will continue to work on implementing it into HR policy documents. The next and last project meeting will be held in Budapest, Hungary in June 2026 (17th and 18th).
