Deployment Desk kick-off meeting held in Eisenstadt, Burgenland, Austria
The kick-off meeting for the deployment desks took place on 17.12.2024. Participants of the “Danube GeoHeCo” project met in Eisenstadt, Burgenland, Austria. As an important partner in the project, representatives of Landesholding Burgenland, the Business Agency, Mindconsult, Schmachtl GmbH, and other SMEs were present in addition to Forschung Burgenland as host.
The aim of the kick-off meeting for the deployment desks is to inform the stakeholders about the contents and the process of the deployment desks and to discuss the implementation of a platform for increasing hybrid heating and cooling systems with shallow geothermal energy in the Danube region.
The focus was on the opportunities and challenges of the technology and the involvement of relevant market players. Meetings like this deepened the understanding of geothermal heating systems and strengthened cooperation.
