LIR Evolution hosts successful Deployment Desk meeting with key stakeholders
As part of the project "Danube GeoHeCo - Fostering the implementation of shallow geothermal hybrid heating and cooling systems in the Danube Region", LIR Evolution organized online the 1st deployment desk meeting on 17th December with the participation of representatives of ministries, institutes, local self-government units, civil society organizations and companies.
The project team presented the project goals, activities and expected results, as well as legal regulations and policies related to the use of geothermal energy.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange opinion, knowledge and experiences through discussion. The aim of the project is to contribute to increasing the use of shallow geothermal energy in the Danube region through transnational cooperation, promotion and support.
To encourage overcoming the challenges of installing hybrid heating and cooling systems, the project will develop and promote an IT decision support tool to help assess and design these systems.
