Promotion of the BIOECONOMY Cluster during the 91st International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad

During the 91st International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, the most famous manifestation of this type in the Western Balkans with a tradition of over a hundred years, a conference "Sustainable Agriculture and Renewable Energy Sources" was held. On behalf of the BIOECONOMY Cluster, Goran M. Vasić, PhD, spoke about circular economy in agriculture. He emphasized the importance of this concept in the future development of sustainable agricultural and economic production in Serbia.

The fair, held from May 18th to 23rd, 2024, featured over 1,100 exhibitors from 26 countries. Highlights included exhibitions of the latest agricultural machinery, organic food, and products with geographical origin. Expert meetings and round tables discussed current agricultural topics, fostering interstate and economic cooperation. The event underscored the importance of innovation and knowledge exchange in advancing Serbian agriculture and supporting the local economy.
