Result 2 - Joint strategies and action plans taken up by organisations

SMEnergy project partners develop action plans for the implementation of the Green Energy Knowledge, Operation & Service Hubs (GEKOS) strategy across partner regions. More specifically, the action plans will highlight the methodology for the implementation of the GEKOS strategy, adapted to the possibilities and resources of the partners, as well as to the regulatory environment and situation of the countries. Action plans show how to institutionalise the operation model of SMEnergy at the consortium partners, how to use the Energy Transition Roadmap for SMEs, and how to implement and extend the Green Energy Database and marketplace.

To achieve this project result, partners develop action plans for the implementation of the Green Energy Knowledge, Operation & Service Hubs (GEKOS) strategy across partner regions.

The action plans and the involvement of decision-makers go beyond the individual documents: they serve as specific steps in a Danube country or region, feasible models for all organisations supporting the transition to green energy whose mission is to help SMEs in this. The result will therefore be a feasible model for how it is worthwhile to operate as a centre to help SMEs become greener.

The goal of this activity is to involve private, public and specialised energy-intensive SMEs in the project for future cooperation and benefit from sharing experience, capacities, and resources, leading to reduced GHG emissions and increased renewable penetration at maximised efficiency and finding suitable SMEs for the pilot action.
