Second partner meeting, Loket, Czech Republic

On the 5th and 6th of November 2024, the second WIN partners' meeting took place in Loket, Czech Republic. 

On the first day, the partners went on a study visit to Karlovy Vary, where they visited the local spa and listened to a presentation by the Karlovy Vary Research Institute of Balneology. Partners also visited the process of remediation of the former mining site, Lake Medard, which provided important insights into sustainable practices in site revitalization. 

The afternoon session consisted of presentations of the project results so far, such as D.1.1.1 Input paper on the position of women in the labour markets in the pilot regions, an overview of D.1.3.1 - the analysis of local, regional, and national policies on women's employment and the discussion on the D.2.1.1 Guidelines for developing social innovations. Later one partner exchanged ideas and experiences for the slogans, key messages, and events they will be organizing as a part of the Awareness-raising campaign. The day ended with a social dinner which allowed partners to network and exchange experiences. 

The second day was dedicated to a transnational workshop and roundtable with successful women from the region, resulting in inspiring discussions on innovation and social participation. The meeting ended with an overview of the administrative and financial management of the project.

The second WIN partners' meeting provided valuable opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual inspiration and the discussions on project results and upcoming awareness-raising initiatives deepened the partners' commitment to improving women's participation in the labour market. The event concluded on a positive note, with partners reaffirming their shared goals and looking forward to the next steps in the WIN project.
