Third WIN newsletter published: Empowering women, driving change

We’re excited to share that the third edition of the WIN newsletter has officially been sent out!

This issue highlights several important developments in our shared mission to foster gender equality across the Danube Region. It introduces two key deliverables: The Peer Review on Women’s Employment Policies and The Comparative Study on the Position of Women in Peripheral Industrial Regions - both of which offer fresh insights into the systemic challenges women face in male-dominated sectors and present actionable pathways for progress.

We also announced the launch of the WIN Awareness-Raising Campaign, now active in all seven pilot regions. This campaign is already making an impact, with inspiring local events organized for International Women’s Day in Hungary, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. These community-driven efforts are helping raise visibility, celebrate women’s contributions, and open conversations about inclusive solutions.

Looking ahead, the newsletter offers a preview of the upcoming third in-person partner meeting, set to take place this May in Loznica, Serbia.
