WIN Innovation group Styrian Iron Road/Austria
Austrian WIN Innovation group at the Styrian Iron Road consists of 19 female participants from industrial companies, the Federation of Austrian Industries, The Chamber of Labour, politicians, educational and cultural institutions as well as employees and the public.
The work started in late September 2024 with the induction meeting concentrating on the main challenges on a regional level as well as the full development of the potential of female employees in a company setting. Followed by two interactive workshops, ideas for the jointly defined emphases were developed and substantiated by the group members in October and November. The main intentions are to foster female networking, establish female mentorship initiatives/role models and work together with the regional schools.
In January 2025 the developed pilot measures will be further refined in group.
