DDAccelerator Kicks Off with 30 Promising Applications and Prepares for January Training

The application deadline for the DDAccelerator program closed on November 11th, and we are excited to announce that we received 30 high-quality applications from innovative projects. We are currently in the selection process, and in January, the selected teams will begin intensive training to develop their entrepreneurial skills and prepare their projects for market entry.

The program offers a four-month journey activities, such as workshops and webinars, with tailored one-on-one mentoring. Participants will have the opportunity to build strategic partnerships with corporate players in their industry, receive guidance from early-stage investors and public funding experts, and gain access to essential resources like computational tools, laboratories, and coworking spaces (depending on availability).

If you missed this deadline, don’t worry - there’s still an opportunity to join the program in upcoming cohorts. The application deadline for Cohort 2 is February 28, 2025, and for Cohort 3, it is May 31, 2025.

The selection process involves three phases. In the first phase, applicants complete an application form, which is evaluated based on the quality of the team, the problem they are addressing, technological uniqueness, and a minimum Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4. In the second phase, the most promising teams prepare a pitch deck using a provided template, answer key questions about their market, and participate in an interview with their country’s DDAccelerator team. Evaluation focuses on market understanding, the innovative nature of the concept, the business model, and the team. In the third phase, selected teams conduct a simple market analysis, answer questions about intellectual property, and present their startup to an international panel of experts. This phase evaluates intellectual property readiness, market readiness, innovation, and the overall impact of the project.
