From the Accelerator to the World: Cohort 2 One Year On

Ten startups. Four months of acceleration. One year later, we are checking back in. From smart energy and mental healthcare to children's education and travel tech, here is what Cohort 2 of the Danube Digital Accelerator has been up to since October 2025.

When the Danube Digital Accelerator's second cohort wrapped up in October 2025, ten startups walked away with four months of intensive mentorship, cross-border connections, and most importantly, momentum. Now, roughly a year on, we are checking back in to see where that momentum has taken them.

Kumadio (Serbia) – In May 2026, the startup launched their official YouTube channel with a 3D animated theme song, giving a first look at what they are building: an interactive platform with audiobooks and stories designed to help children build empathy and learn new skills. At the Technology Transfer Days conference in January 2026, Kumadio took 1st place in the Self-Development and Wellbeing category.

CyberParent – The startup behind a cyberbullying detection platform has secured a pilot programme with an international school in Mostar, a milestone that came through the lasting support of their DDAccelerator mentor even after the programme officially ended. It is a small but telling sign of the kind of connections the accelerator continues to create well beyond its final day. At the Technology Transfer Days conference in January 2026, CyberParent placed 3rd in the Self-Development and Wellbeing category.

InViso – The Romanian startup developing an AI-powered platform for radiotherapy planning has no further public updates available at this time. Their platform automates the segmentation of thoracic organs from CT scans, reducing a process that can take nearly an hour per patient down to just minutes.

IQstat (Czech Republic) – The smart energy management startup has been expanding rapidly on multiple fronts. They recently completed installations in four hotels in Liberec, partnered with Vnitroblock (Kofola) on energy monitoring, and launched a smart energy solution for Airbnb apartments, with a current pilot in Hradec Králové showing an investment payback period of around six months. A standout recent case saw IQstat's system automatically capitalise on extreme negative electricity prices on the spot market, generating an estimated 5,000 CZK in savings over two days, fully automated, without any manual intervention. The startup is also actively building a distributor network among electrical installation companies, and was notably included in the Czech Minister of Industry and Trade's delegation to the United States. At the Technology Transfer Days conference in January 2026, IQstat placed 3rd in the Investors' Choice award.

measurme.com (Ukraine) – a Ukrainian startup building an AI-powered platform and marketplace for psychotherapy, is laying the infrastructure for the future of mental healthcare.
A new Measurme website is on the way (insights provided by the team). In the meantime, their blog is already live — practical content for therapists and clients alike, covering everything from practice management to finding the right specialist.
And if you want to stay close to the brand — Measurme is now on Instagram as well. Regular updates, useful content, and a behind-the-scenes look at building a product for the mental health space. Worth a follow.
On the product side, the team is working on AI features and marketplace that go beyond administration, including tools to predict treatment outcomes and provide therapists with data-driven recommendations for next steps. They have also been expanding their presence in the Ukrainian therapy community, joining the Groont 2.0 psychotherapy conference in Lviv as General Partner.

Montu (Ukraine) – The startup presented at the Technology Transfer Days conference in January 2026, showcasing their digital platform for daily vision care. Montu uses smartphone eye-tracking to diagnose visual strain and deliver personalised, gamified training exercises without specialist hardware or clinic visits. At the time of the conference, their MVP was ready for testing and 300 early users had been onboarded. Since then, the team has been working on an updated version of the app with AI-powered eye-tracking, improved calibration, real-time feedback during exercises, and blink and focus stability monitoring, positioning Montu as a daily digital wellness companion for people who spend long hours in front of screens.

Their platform, developed by Artenon, uses supervised machine learning to generate personalised training programmes based on fitness assessments, health status, goals, and lifestyle constraints, drawing on insights from over 1,200 validated scientific studies. In November 2025, the team also presented their broader AI platform ArtenonAI at Zagreb Connect, one of Croatia's leading innovation and startup events.

Turist Agent (Serbia) – The startup presented at the Technology Transfer Days conference in January 2026, placing 3rd in the Intelligent Digital Technology category. Since then, the team has been actively expanding their travel agency management platform across the region, signing a partnership with Jungle Tribe BiH to enter the Bosnian and Herzegovinian market, and representing the startup at the Push4Tourism open innovation programme in Portugal. The platform helps travel agencies automate administration, manage group and individual trips, generate contracts and invoices, and introduce AI into their daily operations.

The journeys of Cohort 2 startups reflect the energy and diversity that defined the programme from the start. From children's education and mental healthcare to smart energy and travel tech, these teams continue to build, iterate, and expand their reach across Europe and beyond. We are proud to have been part of their journey and look forward to seeing what comes next.
