Caring Communities 2025: A Year in Facts, Figures, and Shared Learning

As we wrap up 2025, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect on what this year has meant for Caring Communities—both in numbers and in impact.

This year, we hosted 12 events, delivered in a mix of online and in-person formats. This combination allowed us to connect across distances while also meeting face to face, strengthening relationships and creating space to exchange ideas and news. Most importantly, it enabled us to learn from one another’s local experiences and diverse community contexts.

Across 2025, more than 150 participants took part in our events. Together, we dedicated many hours to learning and sharing sessions, engaging in open discussions, peer exchange, and practical reflections that continue to shape our work.

This year also brought one of our most meaningful recognitions. Caring Communities was selected as a Danube Strategy Flagship Project by Priority Area 10 (PA10) for 2025—a significant acknowledgement of the relevance, quality, and impact of our collective efforts across the region.

Behind every figure is a story of collaboration, commitment, and care. The numbers show growth, but the real value lies in the connections built, the knowledge shared, and the trust developed throughout the year.
