The 2-day event provided an important opportunity to assess project progress, share experiences and align future steps in supporting SMEs in their circular transition.
The meetings kicked off with a welcome address from the host organization, followed by a review of completed activities and achievements to date. Partners evaluated the current status of the User Acceptance Model (UAM) testing and planned its pilot launch. Updates were also shared on communication efforts, including the creation of a digital brochure and a regional promotional campaign.
Several technical sessions highlighted the development of circular support tools for SMEs. These included tools for assessing circular transition indicators, supply chain readiness, circular value creation and technology transfer preparedness. The partnership also reviewed the progress of the B2GreenHub platform, which is being developed as a central hub for knowledge, tools, and collaboration by Pomurje Technology Park.
A key moment was the presentation and discussion on the pilot implementation plan for the Circular Transition Accelerator and the framework for evaluating its impact. Partners exchanged valuable feedback and aligned on next steps.
The second day was focused on the First Year Review, which included a detailed analysis of project progress, financial status, communication effectiveness and risk management. Special attention was given to the sustainability of results and engagement with target groups. A representative from the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat, Ms. Katalin Kovács-Kasza, also joined the discussions and provided helpful guidance.
In the afternoon, partners participated in a technical workshop to jointly shape the structure and content of the upcoming training curriculum. Through collaborative group work, they drafted outlines and defined the next steps for delivering targeted support to SMEs across the Danube region.
