CI-Hub Regional Co-creation Workshop Slovenia

On September 6th, 2024, the Pomurje Technology Park successfully hosted the Regional Co-creation Workshop at Sava Hotel, GH Bernardin in Portorož, Slovenia. The event focused on developing a user acceptance model for enhancing the adoption of digital and green technologies among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Using a quadruple helix approach, the workshop brought together stakeholders from diverse sectors to explore the acceptance of new technologies, with a special focus on Slovenia. Participants had the opportunity to dive into the results of the user acceptance analysis for Slovenia, which highlighted current challenges and barriers faced by SMEs in adopting these innovations.

Key takeaways included:

  • Presentation of methods and measures designed to tackle these barriers.
  • Discussions on the sustainability of these methods for ensuring long-term success in the circular transition.
  • Engaging dialogue on how focusing on the human element can significantly improve technology adoption in companies.

The workshop’s outcomes will contribute to refining the user acceptance model, a practical guide that will support SMEs and organizations in effectively integrating new technologies and sustainable practices.

A big thank you to all participants for contributing to this important initiative. Together, we are building a more sustainable and technologically advanced future for Slovenia’s SMEs!

Let’s continue to grow green together!
