IV. Wittur-Running Festival of Nyíregyháza: Nearly a thousand people took part in the IV. Wittur-Nyíregyházi Running Festival on 26 of August. This time, the entrants tested their skills in several categories and age groups, including several who came from across the border. Several new obstacles awaited those who set out on the 5 or 10 km distance. OBOR Nations Cup 2024 – Nyíregyháza: The One Belt One Road Juniors World Cup competition was held for the 4th time this year, with the center in Nyíregyháza.

Mozdulj Nyíregyháza-Program: New Leisure Sports Centre, beautified beach volleyball and streetball court and fitness park, 630-meter record running circuit. From 23 of September, the residents of Nyíregyház can take possession of the recreational facilities of the City Stadium. The artificial grass pitches are already used by soccer players, and the new season of Mozdulj Nyíregyháza will start, with many new features. On Saturday, September 28, the Bringaváros cycling event was hold again in Nyíregyháza, which was waiting for interested parties for the seventh time. The purpose of the event, which takes place within the framework of the “Mozdulj Nyíregyháza program”, was to promote a healthy lifestyle and cycling. Participants can collect stamps at 18 locations, which they can exchange for gifts at Kossuth Square. In addition to the stamp collection, visitors to the bicycle points can also enjoy additional programs and exciting activities.
The popular event is jointly organized by the Bringasziget, the Municipality and the Nyíregyházi Civil Forum. Participants can once again go to different parts of Nyíregyháza to collect stamps while exploring different parts of the city. The goal of Bringaváros is to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage cycling, which is becoming more and more common in Nyíregyháza.
