🌍 International Knowledge Exchange for Better Sediment Management

Earlier this September (9–11 September 2025), a delegation from Romanian Waters National Administration took part in a study visit to Norfolk, UK, within the framework of DanubeSediment_Q2.

The visit focused on innovative, nature-based solutions for sediment management and river restoration, combining field experience and expert dialogue.Participants visited key restoration sites — including the River Websu, Stiffkey and Pudding Norton — and met with experts from the University of East Anglia and Norfolk Rivers Trust, fostering valuable exchange of knowledge and best practices for sustainable sediment management.
