On October 23-24, the Center for Sustainable Energy Development (CORE) hosted a DECA project partner meeting in Niš, Serbia, uniting Danube region representatives to discuss community energy’s role in the energy transition. The event highlighted CORE’s commitment to democratizing energy and strengthening local capacities, with a visit to the innovative Magdon housing complex—Serbia's first community energy project with a solar power plant and EV charging stations. DECA partners engaged in collaborative sessions to develop training tools and align on 2025 action plans, setting a coordinated foundation for future sustainable energy projects. The next meeting is planned for March in Budapest.
