Journey for Architecture in Transition in Linz

Exploring sustainable design, circular construction and future-oriented building in Linz

What does future-proof architecture look like in practice? This curated tour takes you through Linz to visit three projects that offer different and inspiring answers – from the sensitive renovation of historic buildings to cutting-edge corporate architecture. Along the way, we explore how architecture can combine regional materials, innovative methods, digital tools and social responsibility.

At each stop, we meet the architects and planners behind the projects and gain insights into their motivations, challenges and solutions. The tour ends with a collaborative workshop session to reflect on what we’ve seen and discuss how circularity, sustainability and innovation can shape the way we build in the future.

This journey could also be seen as a kind of a Social Treasure Hunt – a format that invites participants to explore and analyze good practices in architecture and urban development through real-world examples.
