Transformation of the atrium in Belgrade

The Faculty of Forestry of the University of Belgrade has started the revitalization of the central atrium within the Interreg Danube project DECORATOR. The winning student team came up with the concept of Xilotheque / Architecture — a new educational-experimental zone dedicated to wood species for outdoor use.
This project represents an important step in the improvement of the teaching space and confirms the Faculty's commitment to innovation, sustainability and international cooperation.

The refurbishment of the Atrium is carried out within Pilot Action 4 which aims testing the DECORATOR model, particularly when combining NEB’s principle with green and digital innovation for a new way of thinking (re- thinking) the “house of the future” by presenting the innovative destination of building spaces.
