Political dialogue with involvement of industrial clusters

next session is planned for 25th February 2026 in Nagytarcsa, Hungary

The DECORATOR project aims to implement the principles of the circular economy in practice during the development of the built environment and is carrying out pilot actions in the countries of the Danube Strategy to this end. In Hungary, we are reaching out to companies operating in the construction industry with the help of the Hungarian Builders' Progressive Cluster (MÉPK), and we are also organizing international cooperation in the field of vocational training under the leadership of EDUPARK Nonprofit Kft.

The first event of the DECORATOR project this year took place on January 26, 2026, at the MÉPK showroom in Nagytarcsa. In addition to MÉPK member companies, representatives of other Hungarian clusters were among the participants, and DECORATOR project staff and external experts were also present at the event.

The participants learned about the results of the DECORATOR project so far, then discussed the situation of the construction industry in Hungary and the challenges of the coming years. Based on this, they agreed to prepare further development projects and to jointly organize a follow-up event.  The event, which is being organized by MÉPK, will focus on the most important and topical issues for businesses and will be made available to the companies and local governments participating in the DECORATOR project.
