GeoNetSee 2nd webinar was held on 6th June!

The second online webinar was held on 6th June 2024. Webinar was held in accordance to project activity 1.2 "Capacity building for project partners" and organized by SFEE representatives.

The presentation was held by SFTN representatives Marko Marković, associate professor in the field of geodesy and Danilo Stipić, assistant professor in the field of hydraulic engineering. The title of the topic was as follows: Theoretical review and geodetic deformation monitoring of dams. Within the presentation, the possibilities of monitoring dams, as the most important hydrotechnical objects in real time, were separately presented, and important aspects of the behavior of dams during various factors that influence the movement of these objects over time were indicated. Within this presentation, the important aspects of monitoring based on the application of GNSS (Global navigation satellite system) satellite positioning technology, as well as important aspects from the point of view of representatives of the hydrotechnical profession, were discussed.

In the second part of the webinar, presentations were held by representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from Podgorica, related to the landslide monitoring, geodetic monitoring and monitoring of civil engineering structures.
