Insights on the Preparatory Meeting of the Hungarian GeoNetSee Team

We are thrilled to share insights from a recent informal gathering of the Hungarian GeoNetSee team. This meeting served not just to discuss our strategies, but to ensure that the roles of different disciplines, including geology, geodesy, and monitoring, are well-coordinated within the project, particularly as we prepare to present our advancements in GNSS monitoring at the upcoming workshop in Ljubljana.

Our pilot projects are going to be supported by Hungarian Public Roads and MÁV.

The primary focus of the GeoNetSee project is to utilize GNSS sensor technology effectively within real-world environments to enhance existing monitoring solutions. The collaborative discussions also explored financially sustainable strategies to maintain these innovations post-GeoNetSee.

Participants included Krisztina Dömötör from Hungarian Public Roads and our very own Csaba Sándor and Attila Berényi, alongside esteemed academics Dr. Szabolcs Rózsa and Dr. Ákos Török from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Stay tuned as we bring these advancements to the forefront at the Ljubljana workshop!
