Lead Partner Seminar – Bucharest, 11–12 June 2025

Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to take part in the Lead Partner Seminar in Bucharest, organised for lead partners of second call projects within the Danube Region Programme, together with representatives of first call projects and coordinators of the EUSDR Priority Areas.

The aim of the seminar was to strengthen collaboration, share practical insights, and build meaningful synergies across the programme area. As lead partners play a key role in shaping, managing and guiding the entire partnership towards project goals, the event was especially valuable for us.

Day 1 focused on the operational aspects of project implementation, with sessions on reporting, communication and financial management. Day 2 was dedicated to capitalisation and synergy-building, highlighting connections to the EUSDR’s thematic priorities. The day also included thematic networking sessions, where new second call projects could connect with each other, as well as with first call initiatives and representatives from the MA/JS.

Attending this seminar helped us deepen our understanding of the Danube Region Programme’s strategic framework – and inspired us to take our partnership management forward in an even more effective, sustainable and coordinated way.
