EUSDR Project Capitalisation Event - Budapest, 8 April 2026

EUSDR Project Capitalisation Event

The EUSDR project capitalisation event, held in Budapest on 8 April, brought together representatives of ongoing EU-funded projects to foster networking, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of good practices in the field of regional development.

The programme began with welcome speeches, followed by two sessions of project presentations, where participating initiatives introduced their objectives, achievements, and implementation experiences. These presentations provided a comprehensive overview of diverse approaches to strengthening rural-urban cooperation and local ecosystems.

In the second part of the day, participants engaged in an interactive workshop conducted in a World Café format. Working in two groups, they reflected on key strategic questions, including:

the long-term impacts and sustainability of their projects,

whether and how such impacts can be ensured,

the transferability and adaptability of project results to other contexts,

and the effectiveness of the applied methods and tools.

The discussions enabled participants to identify common challenges and opportunities, while also highlighting successful practices and potential synergies between projects. The workshop concluded with a joint reflection, reinforcing the importance of building a shared knowledge base and fostering future cooperation.

Overall, the event contributed to strengthening professional connections and supporting the long-term integration and scalability of project outcomes within the Danube Region.
