Open Day event in Resita

Make better association (MKBT) from Romania organized an Open Days event in the former industrial site Mociur-Triaj-Valea Țerovei, together with the City Hall of Reșița, Reșița's Local Development Agency, The Museum of Amateur Filmmaker and the museum initiative Mociur Industrial Collection.

They were inviting citizens of all ages to (re)discover this area's industrial past, and its current and future development prospects.

The city is transforming; old industries have given way to new, cleaner, more technologically advanced ones, connected to new global requirements. Public investments are being implemented or planned; transformations are underway. The vast space once occupied by large factories gives way to new urban development patterns and directions: new access roads, new residential and commercial development areas, and new educational facilities.

For the next two years, they will be working side by side with the city of Reșița to find a vision and create synergies for the urban regeneration of the area. A difficult nonetheless exciting process; complex but necessary, desirable, and viable.
