The Open Brownfield Day in Sombor

The Open Brownfield Day and roundtable discussion on "Opportunities and Development Directions of the Pilot Location Agrosavez" took place in the Assembly Hall in Sombor 18th June, as part of the project "Reindustrialization Following Brownfield is Better than Greenfield Principle" (ReInd-BBG).

Additionally, participants were given an in-depth tour of the "Agrosavez" location. This provided a unique opportunity to observe the current state of the site and discuss its vast potential for future development.

Following the visit to the pilot location, a roundtable discussion was organized to explore the possibilities and development directions for the "Agrosavez" pilot site. Among the potential directions is the development of a "Business Zone in Sombor", envisioned as a hub for the sale of goods and commodities, with a modern refrigeration facility for storing agricultural products. This Business Zone will also serve as a gathering place for fostering new business ideas, potentially housing a business incubator as well. The aim is to create a dynamic environment that supports economic growth and innovation within the community.
