The third online Project Partner’s meeting
The third online Project Partner’s meeting for the ReInd-BBG project was held on Wednesday, 5th June 2024. The meeting was highly productive, with significant updates and discussions on management and reporting, communication and capacity building activities. The topics also included presentations of the conducted and planned Open Days in 6 piloting locations: Hrastnik, Zenica, Sombor, Vratsa, Resita and Niksic. The meeting concluded with a clear outline of next steps and upcoming tasks for all partners.
During the third online meeting of project partners within the ReInd-BBG project, two training sessions were conducted to enhance capacity building activities.
The first session, led by Grit Ackermann, Project Manager at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS), the leading partner in the ReInd-BBG project, focused on exchanging experiences, utilizing methodological tools, and showcasing achievements from the trAIL project. The objectives of the trAIL project closely align with those of ReInd-BBG, including transforming former Alpine industrial landscapes into post-industrial uses, activating the hidden economic, ecological, and social potential of abandoned landscapes, and developing and testing sustainable planning strategies. The insights provided were invaluable and pertinent to all project partners in ReInd-BBG project.
The second session was facilitated by Andrada-Ioana Lupulescu, an urban planner at URBASOFIA, who shared experiences from the AGORA project (Advanced coGeneration Options for Reintegrating local Assets). These insights were also highly relevant to participants engaged in the ReInd-BBG project.
