Project Meeting & Training Program held in Nikšić

From November 19 to 20, 2024, representatives from RTIT>> Consortium attended meeting and training program in premises of project lead partner IEC Tehnopolis in Nikšić, Montenegro. This two-day event brought together experts from 12 project partners and one associated strategic partner to discuss technology transfer, innovation policies and the development of action plans for advancing innovation, with a particular focus on materials and materials technologies. The program included interactive and collaborative workshops, as well as presentations on European innovation policies and best practices.   

The event commenced with welcoming remarks by Mr. Đorđije Malović, Executive Director of IEC Tehnopolis, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in enhancing technology transfer. The participants were treated to an insightful online presentation, "Future of Technology Transfer," by Kathrin Singer of Bayern Innovative, which explored emerging trends and strategies for technology transfer. This session set the stage for engaging discussions on Europe's industrial innovation policies, as presented in a keynote video by Giulia Del Brenna, Head of Unit at the European Commission. 

The first day featured an open discussion on technology transfer pathways, a presentation of a methodological framework for drafting an Action Plan, and collaborative sessions designed to align partner capacities and foster research-industry synergies. Interactive workshops allowed participants to evaluate a repository of tools critical for piloting projects, enabling deeper insights into practical implementation. 

The focus of the second day was on strategic management, financial planning, and communication. Led by consortium leaders, sessions highlighted progress and outlined the roadmap for the next project phase. Special attention was given to developing tools, action plan, and methodologies for advancing technology transfer and ensuring the project's successful rollout. 

The meeting underscored the RTIT consortium’s commitment to strengthening innovation networks, enhancing collaboration across sectors, and driving industrial competitiveness in the Danube Region. This gathering not only bolstered partnerships but also laid the groundwork for impactful initiatives that align with European and regional innovation strategies.
