Innovation, knowledge transfer and sustainable materials were at the center of activities held within the RTIT>> project in Gradiška

From sustainable materials to technologies used by global automotive brands, the RTIT>> project activities in Gradiška brought together innovation, education and industry in one place.

As part of the conference “Gradiška – City of Wood”, Prof. Dr. Džafer Dautbegović held a workshop exploring the potential of WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) materials created from waste streams and wood-plastic composites.

Representatives of the University of Zenica also visited the Technical Secondary School in Gradiška, where successful examples of technology transfer and cooperation between education and industry were presented.

One of the highlights was the visit to DMD Machining Solutions, a company developing advanced tooling technologies used by automotive brands such as BMW and Audi.

The activities also provided an opportunity to present the results of the RTIT>> project and further emphasize the importance of connecting research, innovation and SMEs for sustainable industrial development.
