Transnational Piloting Activity in Augsburg

The RTIT>> project held a transnational piloting activity in Augsburg, Germany, bringing together project partners, stakeholders, and SMEs from across the Danube region.

Hosted by Bayern Innovativ, the two-day programme provided practical insights into advanced materials, technology transfer, and innovation ecosystems. Participants explored Augsburg Innovation Park, including the Technology Center Augsburg, Materials Resource Management Institute, AI Showroom, Hall 43, and Fraunhofer IGCV.

The agenda focused on knowledge communities, best practices in technology transfer, and collaboration between SMEs and research institutions, with additional sessions on composite materials and future production technologies.

The activity strengthened cross-border cooperation and provided valuable examples of how innovation systems can support SME growth in the field of materials technologies.
