💬 What is SMILE?

SMILE stands for Social Media Leadership Incubator for the Danube Region. This innovative project focuses on equipping youth with the skills they need to thrive and lead in their communities, with an emphasis on:

• 📱 Media literacy

• 🏛️ Good governance

• 🗳️ Active citizenship

• 🌟 Youth leadership development

💡 Why It Matters

Rural areas across the Danube region are facing a pressing challenge: brain drain, as young people leave in search of better opportunities elsewhere. SMILE aims to change that narrative by offering:

• Hands-on workshops

• Personalized mentorship

• Collaborations with local and regional stakeholders

Through these activities, SMILE will inspire youth to stay, grow, and lead where they are most needed — in their own communities.
