The results will be demonstrated through delivered outputs: Position paper will be produced in O.1.1 outlining key features of how social media works in the region and its role in the civic engagement of young people. O.1.2 Guide with policy recommendations plan for strengthening social media and leadership skills will be produced. A database of policy documents that provide the framework for actions and practises will be created. O.1.3 Strategy with action plan will provide the necessary instruments for the launch of short, medium, and long-term strategic actions aimed at improving the situation in the respective areas. O.1.4 The SMILE Incubator badge will symbolise the active participation and commitment to the empowerment of rural youth in the DR as part of the project. O.2.3 The SMILE Incubator Operational Toolkit will institutionalise the specific content, procedures, processes, methodologies, and tools developed within the project.
