We are delighted to invite you to an upcoming online seminar as part of the SpinIT project, focusing on the Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3) and its role in innovation and regional development. The SpinIT project, financed through the Interreg Danube Programme, aims to enhance the innovation capacities of the Danube Region by fostering smart specialization strategies and supporting SMEs through increased digitalization and skill development.

The SpinIT project aims to make the most of transnational knowledge by aligning with the S3 strategy and developing skills that are not only innovative but also inclusive and sustainable. The project uses a "quadruple helix" approach, combining the knowledge of the academic community, small and medium-sized enterprises, authorities of different levels, and the non-governmental sector in the planning and implementation of pilot projects. This approach enables a comprehensive perspective in solving challenges and creating new opportunities within the IT sector, Industry 4.0, and cross-sector cooperation. The project lasts for 30 months and started on January 1, 2024.
