Transdinarica2 present at Rural Downhill in Herceg Novi
In the town of Herceg Novi (Montenegro) and its surroundings the first edition of Rural Downhill was organised between May 29th and May 31st. The three-day programme included different disciplines of mountain biking, downhill rides and pump track rides.The participants came from Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our Associate project partner - Durmitor Adventure also took part at the event, actively presenting the Transdinarica2 project, which also aims to increase social and economic impats of cycling tourism along and in the vicinity of Trans Dinarica Cycling Route. Events such as Rural Downhill in Herceg Novi are good examples of cycling activities (tourism, sports,...) can contribute to local development in the areas where cycling is now becoming an important activity for the locals and visitors respectively.
