BoT E-curriculum: Boosting Skills and Opportunities

The Back On Track e-curriculum is a a flexible, online learning tool designed to support young people who are currently not in education, employment or training.

We are excited to introduce the Back on Track e-curriculum – a flexible, online learning tool designed to support young people who are currently not in education, employment or training (NEETs), particularly in rural areas of the Danube Region.

This modular curriculum is aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF Levels 3–5) and includes seven practical and engaging modules:

  • Financial literacy

  • Communication

  • Digital skills

  • Emotional intelligence

  • Problem-solving

  • Professional skills

  • English at work

Altogether, the curriculum offers 175 hours of learning and is delivered in a mobile-first, gamified format on Moodle. Through scenario-based learning, learner personas, and optional certification, it supports young people in strengthening their basic and transversal (power) skills, building resilience, and taking concrete steps toward employment, training, or self-employment.

Project partners played a key role in shaping the curriculum by identifying learner needs, reviewing content, and gathering feedback. Moreover, the curriculum was peer-reviewed in February and March, helping to ensure the curriculum is inclusive, relevant, and tailored to the region’s realities.
