CultHeRit Advocacy Campaign at the Slovenian Museum Association Forum
As part of the CultHeRit advocacy campaign, the Notranjska Museum Postojna presented its activities and results at the Slovenian Museum Association Forum in April 2026 in Dolenjske Toplice. The event brought together directors of Slovenian museums and leaders of key professional organisations, making it an important platform for strategic discussion and sector development.

The presentation was delivered by Tatjana Hvala, Director of Zavod Znanje, and Vital Jurca, a young professional involved in the project. It was aimed at decision-makers and institutional leadership, focusing on youth employment, mentorship practices, and concrete project outcomes. Particular attention was given to communication and digital activities that successfully engage younger audiences and address the evolving role of museums in contemporary society.

By participating in the Forum, the Notranjska Museum Postojna strengthened the visibility of its advocacy campaign and actively contributed to discussions on the future of museums as employers and hubs for developing new competencies.
CultHeRit Advocacy Campaign at the Educa Conference
At the 9th International Conference School and Museums, held from 26 to 28 March 2026 in Postojna and organized by Educa Izobraževanje, the Notranjska Museum Postojna presented the CultHeRit project as part of its advocacy campaign.
The project was introduced by Vital Jurca together with mentors Ana Čič and Dr. Tine Kaluža. The presentation focused on youth employment in the cultural sector, mentorship models, and best practices developed within the project. Special attention was also given to the role of digital tools and social media, such as TikTok and Instagram, in engaging younger audiences.
As part of the professional programme, Vital Jurca presented the project’s development, employment model, and the challenges of mentoring in museum practice, sparking discussion on improving employment and mentorship approaches in the cultural field.

Conference papers will be published in an official e-proceedings, contributing to the project’s international visibility. Through such activities, the museum strengthens its role as an innovative institution and promotes the inclusion of young professionals in the cultural sector.
