Project Title: Partnership meeting
Organized by: Notranjski muzej Postojna
The meeting was held within the framework of the CultHeRit project, which addresses the challenges of youth employment in the cultural sector. Recognizing the increasing demand for qualified young professionals in cultural institutions and organizations, the project aims to support the development of long-term strategies that improve employability and professional integration in the sector.
The main objectives of the meeting were:
· Sharing the experiences between the mentors & mentees
· Sharing the experiences about employment model within partners in the project
· Advocacy campaign – content of the campaign, tasks & responsibilities
· Evaluation of the transnational aspirational employment model
· Identifying key challenges and structural barriers faced by young professionals
· Proposing initial concept for the films
· CultFlow workshops & CultHeRit well-being
Participants engaged in structured discussions on the following themes:
· Presentation films – discussion about the first drafts of concept of the films which will present the employment situation in CHIM
· Strategies for improving accessibilities of jobs and employment situation in CHIM sector
· Status of the preparation and implementation of the Advocacy campaign
· Proposals for the national level advocacy events
· The potential of mentoring programs, internships, and cross-sectoral partnerships
· Pilot action reports
The meeting concluded with a shared recognition of the urgent need to:
· Strengthen the cooperation between cultural organizations and educational institutions
· Advocate for the inclusion of young professionals in institutional strategic planning
· Initiate the creation of a working group tasked with developing concrete recommendations for policymakers and cultural stakeholders, as well as mentorship programs
· Implementation and updating partners internal HR policy documents
· Preparation of the Mentorship manual for CHIM sector
