Introduction of the Young Professionals employed through the #CultHeRit project

The multidisciplinary partnership from the region aims to induce positive changes of the current employment practices in the cultural heritage institutes and museums (CHIM) in the region. By increasing the accessibility of the sector for the young professionals, the project contributes to slowing down and reversing migration of the highly educated young people and to retaining the skilled labor in the CHIM, while increasing diversity of the sectoral workforce. Ultimately, CultHeRit strives to ensure that the sector becomes and remains an attractive workplace which offers a rewarding career and professional development to all its employees.

As a part of testing the Transnational Aspirational Employment Model each of 13 cultural heritage institutions has employed and welcomed to their team - Young Professionals. Now it's time to get to know them better.

2.      NATIONAL MUSEUM FOR THE HISTORY OF TRANSYLVANIA - CLUJ

We are glad that we were joined by Andra Comiati, history graduate, archeology PhD student and with a solid background in pedagogy. Under the mentorship of our colleague, Monica Bodea, Andra contributes to the development and implementation of museum education workshops, already highly appreciated by our public. Although she has been part of the team for only two months, she has taken on the role of museum educator with great seriousness, but also with infectious enthusiasm, bringing energy and creativity to our activities.
