Second Webinar out of Six: Greening the Danube Region

On 19 October 2026, 13:30 - 15:00 CET, we will hold our second webinar in a series of six, called "Greening the Danube Region: Identifying Nature-Based Solutions for Wastewater and Stormwater Management in Small Settlements". Building on the findings of the first D-CLEAN webinar, which mapped the current state of wastewater and stormwater management in small settlements, this second webinar shifts the focus from challenges to solutions.

The session will present key findings from the the newly developed D-CLEAN Catalogue of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), featuring approximately twenty fact sheets covering a range of solutions for both wastewater and stormwater management. , including:

twenty fact sheets covering a range of solutions for both wastewater and stormwater management
applicability of solutions under varying local conditions
a review of their benefits, limitations and implementation requirements

The session will combine expert presentations with interactive discussions, enabling participants to exchange experiences and identify solutions most relevant to their local context.
